Refund policy

This policy applies to purchases made directly through whitefoxboutiqueb.shop. Please read it before placing an order and retain your order confirmation. The voluntary return terms below supplement, and do not replace, rights available under applicable consumer and warranty laws.

1. Thirty-Day Return Period and UK Cancellation Rights

We offer a voluntary return-request period of 30 calendar days after delivery for eligible goods. This store policy gives customers more time than the ordinary 14-day statutory cancellation period for distance contracts and does not replace or reduce any mandatory right.

For most goods bought online by a UK consumer, the consumer may cancel without giving a reason by making a clear statement within 14 calendar days after the day the goods come into the consumer’s physical possession. Where one order is delivered in separate lots or pieces, the statutory period normally runs from possession of the last lot or piece. After giving a statutory cancellation notice, the consumer normally has a further 14 calendar days to send the goods back.

Separate statutory remedies apply where goods are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for a disclosed purpose, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to the contract. Those rights are not limited to 30 days merely because the voluntary return period is 30 days.

2. How to Request a Return or Cancel

Email info@whitefoxboutiqueb.shop with the order number, the name used for the order, the goods concerned, and a clear statement that you wish to return or cancel. No special wording is required to exercise a statutory cancellation right, and use of a model cancellation form is not mandatory. We will acknowledge and review the request, normally within 1–3 business days.

Do not send a parcel before receiving return instructions unless doing so is reasonably necessary to meet a statutory deadline. Our return address is the same as our business address: 14 BRAESIDE PARK, BALLOCH, INVERNESS, United Kingdom. Include information that lets us match the parcel to the order. Failure to obtain a return number does not extinguish a statutory right where the goods and transaction can otherwise be identified.

3. Return Shipping and Fees

For a voluntary change-of-mind return or a statutory cancellation, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where the law permits and this responsibility was disclosed before purchase. We do not impose a restocking fee. We refund the least expensive standard outbound delivery charge where the Consumer Contracts Regulations require it; because standard shipping is normally free, that amount will usually be £0.

Where goods are faulty, damaged on delivery, incorrect, unsafe, or not as described, we bear reasonable return costs or provide an appropriate prepaid method where required by law. We do not shift costs caused by our breach or fulfilment error to the customer. Any unusually expensive method chosen without agreement may be reimbursed only up to a reasonable equivalent method, subject to statutory rights.

4. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any purpose made known and reasonably relied upon, and as described. If goods do not conform, remedies may include the short-term right to reject, repair or replacement, a price reduction, or the final right to reject, depending on the facts and statutory conditions.

The short-term right to reject faulty goods is generally available for 30 days, subject to the Act. After that period, or where the customer chooses, repair or replacement may be appropriate before a price reduction or final rejection. A store warranty, manufacturer warranty, inspection practice, photograph request, packaging preference, or voluntary return condition does not remove these rights.

Contact us promptly with the order number and a description of the issue. Photographs and packaging information are helpful where reasonably available, but their absence does not automatically defeat a valid claim. For a missing item or non-delivery, we will investigate tracking and fulfilment records without making a carrier admission the only acceptable evidence.

5. Refund Approval, Method, and Timing

Once a refund is approved, the refund will be returned to and credited to the original payment method within 7 calendar days after refund approval. The seven-day period includes our processing and the payment provider’s posting time; we do not add a separate bank-processing or posting period. If the credit is not visible by that deadline, email info@whitefoxboutiqueb.shop with the order number so we can trace and resolve it.

For a statutory cancellation of a sales contract, reimbursement will also be made without undue delay and no later than the deadline required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations—normally 14 days after we receive the goods back or, if earlier, receive evidence that they were sent back, unless we offered to collect them. Refund approval and inspection will not be delayed to defeat that legal deadline. Any shorter mandatory deadline takes precedence over this policy.

Refunds use the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise, and no refund fee is charged. Where required, the refund includes the price paid and the cost of the least expensive common standard delivery offered. Enhanced-delivery costs above that standard amount need not be refunded where the law permits.

6. Exchanges and Order Cancellation

Exchanges depend on stock. A customer may instead use any available cancellation, rejection, repair, replacement, price-reduction, or refund right. If a replacement is agreed for faulty goods, it must be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, with necessary costs borne as required by law.

Contact us as soon as possible to cancel before dispatch. If the order has already entered fulfilment, cancellation may still be exercised where the Consumer Contracts Regulations apply. Refusing delivery is not always a reliable substitute for clear cancellation notice, so email us as well. Cancellation exceptions may apply to categories such as made-to-measure or clearly personalised goods, sealed hygiene goods unsealed after delivery, perishable goods, or inseparably mixed goods, but only where the statutory exception genuinely applies and was properly disclosed.

7. Calendar Days and Business Days

The 30-day voluntary return-request period, statutory 14-day cancellation period, statutory return period, and seven-day approved-refund commitment are measured in calendar days. Administrative estimates expressly stated as business days mean Monday through Friday, excluding UK bank holidays applicable in Scotland.

A weekend, holiday, internal review, carrier investigation, or payment-provider delay does not retrospectively change a calendar-day deadline or extend a mandatory remedy. If the final day of a statutory period is affected by a rule of law governing deadlines, that rule applies.

8. Proof of Purchase and Authorized Requests

Please provide an order number, confirmation email, receipt, or another reasonable record that allows us to identify a purchase made through whitefoxboutiqueb.shop. If you have lost the confirmation, contact us using the email address associated with the order and provide the approximate purchase date and item details. Do not send a complete bank statement when a limited transaction reference will suffice.

A purchaser may authorize another person to help with a return. We may ask for proportionate confirmation before disclosing order information or issuing instructions. A gift recipient can contact us for assistance, but a monetary refund ordinarily goes back to the original payment method rather than a different recipient's account.

9. Condition Assessment for Preference Returns

For a voluntary preference return, goods should be unused beyond reasonable inspection, complete, and returned with accessories and any packaging reasonably needed to protect them. Under a statutory cancellation, a consumer may handle goods as they reasonably could in a shop to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Where handling goes beyond that level, the law may permit a proportionate deduction for diminished value. No such deduction is made merely because packaging was opened, and no deduction is imposed where the required cancellation information was not provided. Faulty-goods remedies are assessed under the Consumer Rights Act rather than voluntary change-of-mind condition rules.

10. Product-Specific Conditions and Exceptions

Return eligibility depends on the item and the legal basis for return. Statutory cancellation exceptions can include genuinely personalised or made-to-measure goods, goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, sealed health-protection or hygiene goods after unsealing, sealed audio, video or software after unsealing, and goods inseparably mixed after delivery. An exception is applied narrowly and only where its legal conditions are met.

An item excluded from change-of-mind cancellation can still carry remedies if faulty, misdescribed, unsafe, or not fit for purpose. Product pages must disclose material restrictions before purchase. A generic “final sale” label does not override a statutory right.

11. Return Address and Package Identification

Return address: 14 BRAESIDE PARK, BALLOCH, INVERNESS, United Kingdom. This is the same as our company address. Please first contact info@whitefoxboutiqueb.shop so we can record the request and provide instructions for identifying the return. Include the order number and the name used for the purchase inside the package or as otherwise instructed.

Do not include unrelated products, payment cards, cash, or identity documents in the parcel. The address does not promise an in-person counter service or an unarranged hand-delivery appointment. If a return is already on its way without prior contact, notify us promptly; a missing authorization reference does not automatically invalidate a statutory remedy.

12. Packing, Tracking, and Return Transit

Use packaging appropriate to the product and protect loose components so they are not damaged during transportation. Remove or cover obsolete shipping labels to avoid misrouting. A tracked service is recommended for a return you arrange yourself, and you should retain the dispatch receipt until the matter is resolved.

If we provide a prepaid label, follow its carrier and service instructions and ask us for help if it does not work. Where you independently select the return carrier, a loss during return transit will be assessed using the shipment evidence and applicable law. We do not reject a return solely because a carrier's online tracking page is incomplete when other reliable delivery evidence exists.

13. Inspection and Disputed Return Decisions

We inspect returned goods reasonably and distinguish voluntary preference returns from statutory cancellation and faulty-goods claims. We will explain a refusal, deduction, or proposed remedy and identify the factual basis. An internal decision does not remove the customer’s right to challenge it, seek independent advice, use an applicable dispute route, or bring a lawful court claim.

We do not make statutory remedies conditional on original packaging, a manufacturer’s decision, or a carrier’s admission. We may request proportionate evidence, but requirements must reflect the nature of the issue and information reasonably available to the customer.

14. Refund Amounts, Discounts, and Bundles

Refunds reflect the amount actually paid for returned goods, allocated discounts, and any delivery amount required by law. For bundle promotions, a refund may be calculated using the disclosed allocation or the value of retained goods, but never so as to impose a hidden penalty or reduce a statutory entitlement.

Where only part of an order is cancelled, the standard outbound delivery refund may depend on whether the original delivery cost would have been the same for the retained goods. Approved lawful deductions are itemised. Gift cards or promotional credits are refunded according to their valid terms unless mandatory law requires another result.

15. Payment Method and Refund Traceability

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise. We keep transaction references needed to trace the refund and will provide available confirmation on request. We do not request full payment-card numbers by email.

If a refund is not credited within 7 calendar days after approval, email info@whitefoxboutiqueb.shop. We will promptly investigate with the payment provider. The seven-day period already includes provider posting time and is not followed by an additional waiting period.

16. International Returns and Government Charges

Customers returning goods from outside the United Kingdom should use a traceable method and accurately describe the parcel as returned merchandise where appropriate. The customer is responsible for direct change-of-mind return costs where lawfully disclosed; we bear costs required because goods are faulty or we made a fulfilment error.

Import VAT, customs duties, or charges paid directly to an authority may be governed by that authority’s refund procedure. We will provide reasonably available transaction information to support a claim. Nothing in this section reduces mandatory rights or permits an undisclosed deduction.

17. Safety Issues and Products That Should Not Be Used

If a product appears unsafe, stop using it where appropriate and contact us with a description of the concern. Do not attempt a repair solely to qualify for a return. If ordinary shipping would be unsafe, ask for suitable instructions before sending the item; some damaged goods may require special handling rather than an ordinary parcel label.

A product-safety issue will be handled according to its circumstances and applicable obligations. The voluntary 30-day period does not override a recall remedy or other mandatory protection. We will not require continued use, disposal of evidence, or an unnecessarily hazardous return method as a condition of reviewing the concern.

18. Delivery Problems, Chargebacks, and Duplicate Credits

Contact us about non-delivery, damage, or an incorrect order so we can investigate and offer the appropriate remedy. Customers remain free to use a lawful card-provider dispute or court remedy; contacting us first is encouraged but is not a waiver or mandatory exhaustion requirement.

A customer must not retain duplicate recovery for the same loss. If both a store refund and a payment-provider credit are issued, the parties should cooperate to correct the duplication. This does not delay a refund that is already legally due.
